  • Oversized 159mm (6.25 inch) diameter blade shaft for increased strength and superior balancing
  • Spiral placement of cutting blades to maximise the efficiency of the machine reducing the power required to drive the mower
  • Opening rear discharge door giving the ability to knock down heavier scrub where the deck might otherwise clog up and bog down the mower
  • Ability to set extra high cut (up to 100mm) which is ideal for heavier conditions as well as areas where there may be objects protruding out of the ground such as rocks or tree stumps
  • Oversized SKF blade shaft bearings for maximum reliability
  • Larger diameter drive pulley system to handle higher horsepower and increase the belt life
  • Higher blade tip speed for a cleaner cut and improved mulching
  • Deck that is double skinned in the critical areas for increased durability

 

 

The specs of the Premium 2400 step up from the other models in the Premium range which all share the same drive line and construction. This accounts for the larger step-up in both the machine weight and price when compared to the other machines.

The main differences are as follows –

  • The drive line has 5 belts (rather than 4) as well as a larger gearbox which makes it capable of handling 110hp.
  • Bigger hammers weighing 1.1kgs (rather than 0.8kgs) allow the mower to process larger material.
  • The general construction of the machine has additional strength where required to handle the extra capabilities and weight of the mower, this includes heavier walls on the blade shaft and side plates, oversized head stock, etc.
