Description

Hayes Contractor Series I 1800 flail mower with mechanical side shift is designed for 45–80 hp tractors. It has a 1800 mm cutting width, 26 hammer blades, a 168 mm blade shaft, SKF bearings and Category 1 linkage. SKU 24070-M.

  • 168 mm (6.6 inch) diameter blade shaft for increased strength and superior balancing
  • Blade shaft runs on 50 mm dual-race SKF bearings with external access
  • 168 mm diameter rear roller running on 35 mm bearings
  • High-discharge design to increase ground speed
  • Spiral placement of cutting blades to maximise efficiency and reduce the power required to drive the mower
  • Extra-high cut setting up to 100 mm, useful in heavier conditions and areas where rocks or tree stumps may protrude from the ground
  • When fully side shifted to the non-belt side, the cut extends 1200 mm from the tractor centreline
  • When fully side shifted to the belt side, the cut extends 1000 mm from the tractor centreline
