Drag

Hayes drag harrows are tow-behind chain harrows for spreading manure, levelling the surface and scarifying pasture to encourage new growth. Both the 5ft (1.5m) drag harrow and the 8ft (2.4m) drag harrow can be pulled by an ATV, 4x4 or tractor, so they suit everything from small acreage paddocks to larger grazing blocks. Each harrow section is double-sided. The sharper side scarifies the ground, while the smoother side spreads manure with less disturbance to the grass and needs less pulling power. Chain links join the bull ring, front bar and first row of harrows, which hold up under load better than solid rods. Replacement shackles, tow rings, spike rings and harrow spikes are stocked in the drag harrow parts range. For a harrow that lifts on the tractor's linkage, see the 3 point linkage pasture harrows, or browse the full pasture harrows range. More attachments for quad bikes are in the ATV implements collection.
